I've covered the excellent Gearheads show on this site before, and I've made it clear how much fun it is every time. This year set a new record for most cars registered, and all of them were pretty spectacular. I see something new ever year, and you can bet I'll be back next year. Until then, enjoy these photos!

Hello - just wanted to thank you for thinking enough of my car to include it in this collection (mine is the white/blue stripes 2012 Mustang with the carbureted 427w motor swap). It was my first time at the Buda Gearheads show, and I was awestruck by the sheer number of really nice cars - my favorite was the Buick Skylark rat rod. I have never seen so many multi-carb setups in one place. Simply amazing. BTW, your pics are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteI'm in San Antonio but have recently started attending the Austin Cars&Coffee event at Lake Travis - the next event is this coming Sunday (11/09).
Thanks for your comment! Your car definitely stood out; late-model Mustangs can be a bit tame, but yours was nice enough to draw attention away from some of the classic muscle around it. I also liked the Skylark, and recall seeing it at LSRU this year. I'm a huge fan of the Austin Cars and Coffee meet, and I try to make it out as often as possible. I missed last month on account of the vintage races at COTA, but I'm hoping to make the next one!
